We don’t eliminate US history simply because it happened in the past. I was in an argument recently with someone over this exact question. The past is elusive. For many, the past may have occurred over a hundred years ago. Or the past could describe less than a minute ago.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS. . .

The past may have included outdated thinking. Ot the past represents something we can learn from, such as “don’t do that again.” Or it could be partially but not completely true. It’s an experiment in thinking before we’re on to trying something new.

IS THIS DEBATE ABOUT “THE PAST” THE RESULT OF DEBATE OR SOMETHING ELSE?

Sometimes I am wondering if this debate is ongoing or merely part of a larger conversation.

What is your take on this?

Suffrage Wagon News Channel has been publishing since 2009. And we’re not forgetting August 26th either. This proves that we have a past and that US women are thinking for themselves. We have a lot of ground to cover, and we have made many accomplishments. There is a long way to go!
